$400M deal for maritime works at Melbourne

NZ port alliance given the go-ahead

The Port of Tauranga, on New Zealand’s North Island, can now move ahead with its plan to buy half of PrimePort Timaru, on South Island. The NZD 21.6 million (US$ 17.3M) deal, first announced in mid-August, received today the required approval from Timaru District Council.
