This is to notify the general public that, the Ghana Ports & Harbours Authority (GPHA), having received and evaluated the response to the Request for Expression of Interest, published from 11th May 2016 to 30th June 2016, the prequalification process has been completed.
Four qualified firms have been shortlisted to participate in the next stage of the competitive process towards the selection of a Terminal Operator for the proposed Takoradi Dry Bulk Terminal.
The shortlisted firms are, in alphabetical order:
- Grindrod Ltd – South Africa
- Marsa Maroc – Morocco
- Sea-Invest Corporation – Belgium
- Transnet SOC Ltd – South Africa
The publication of REOI registered interests from twenty-seven entities made up of individual firms and various joint ventures. Nine, out of the twenty-seven, responded to the Request for Expression of Interest by the closing period of 30th of June, 2016.
While we congratulate the prequalified entities, we are also very grateful to all the entities that showed great interest in the development agenda to make this competition worthy and keen.
