Authorities at Mozambique’s Port of Maputo have launched a tender process to select a company to expand the access channel at the port and allow vessels with draughts of up to 14.5 metres.

Construction of Kenya’s Lamu port project is due to start next month, according to the country’s president Uhuru Kenyatta.
